Live Bird ExhibitRules:1.Poultry exhibitors are required to provide documents that the birds originate from a National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP) official PullorumTyphoid Clean flock or have had a negative PullorumTyphoid test within ninety (90) dayspreceding exhibition.2.All animals must be in good physical condition before the animal can be unloaded at the fairor behown, for example, no broken limbs, no serious wounds, no foot rot, sore mouth orring worm.3.Poultry will be visually inspected for parasites.If parasites are found, all (or part) of flock will be sent home.All poultry will be judged by American Poultry Association standards of perfection.All exhibited poultry must be of recognized standard breeds.Poultry must be bathed, clean and free of external parasites.No poultry may be exhibited showing signs ofinfectious or communicable disease.All chickens, turkeys, and game birds must be tested.
