On July 28th, the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a benefit
dinner for its McMinn Tomorrow program, with guest speaker, Steve

delicious dinner prepared by the
ARAMARK staff of Tennessee Wesleyan College.

Following dinner, the 400
attendees enjoyed Coach Spurrier share his formula for success, as well as his
memories of the years he lived in Athens as a child.
In the photo to the right, Coach Spurrier enjoyed a moment with the crowd,
in which he identified Athens’ own Doak Willett as being the best athlete the
coach ever knew.
